- Alien applicants must present all pertinent documents / permits.
- Mandatory Drug Screening.

| EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN (EMT) |
| |
- New York State EMT Certification
- EMT Drivers must be at least 21 years of age
- New York State Drivers License
- Must have at least Two (2) years DRIVING experience (no DWI/DUI, Excessive Points or Accidents)
- Satisfactory Driving and Skills Tests will be required to determine eligibility

| PARAMEDIC |
| |
- New York State EMT-P Certification
- Paramedic Drivers must be at least 21 years of age
- New York State Drivers License
- New York City MAC Card
- Must have at least Two (2) years DRIVING experience (no DWI/DUI, Excessive Points or Accidents)
- Satisfactory Driving and Skills Tests will be required to determine eligibility

| AMBULETTE DRIVER |
| |
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Passenger endorsement
- TLC license or the ability to qualify
- Must have at least Two (2) years DRIVING experience (no DWI/DUI, Excessive Points or Accidents)
- Satisfactory Driving and Skills Tests will be required to determine eligibility
